Elefest 2008

Elefest, Elephant and Castle's annual free festival returns!

19th – 28th September

Over 10 days, the festival will transform the area with an outdoor cinema, street theatre, live bands, photography exhibitions and contemporary dance performances in and around the Elephant and Castle.

Highlights include Jah Wobble, Trojan Sound System, London Philharmonic Orchestra's Renga ensemble, live music courtesy of Global Local and London Bubble Theatre performance.

Events will be held at The Coronet Theatre, Corsica Studios, Pullens Estate, Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre, Siobhan Davies Dance Studios and St Mary's Churchyard.

Elefest was launched in 2003 to celebrate the cultural and creative diversity of the Elephant and Castle. It has expanded every year and has now become a permanent fixture on the cultural map of London.
